1. Who is responsible

2. Waitlist signup
If you sign up on this page, we collect the following data:
- your first name,
- your email address,
- whether you join as an artist or a collector.
We use this data only to notify you when Paintary launches and to send you information about the launch. We do not use it for any other purpose and do not sell it.
Legal basis: your consent, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. We use a double opt-in procedure: after you sign up, you receive an email with a confirmation link. Your signup is only active once you click it.
Withdrawing consent: you can unsubscribe at any time using the unsubscribe link in our launch emails, or by writing to us. Your data will then be deleted, unless the law requires us to keep it. We delete your data at the latest after the launch communication ends and you have not become a user.
3. Email service provider
We use Brevo (Brevo SAS, 106 boulevard Haussmann, 75008 Paris, France) to store signups and send emails. Brevo processes your data on our behalf under a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR. Data may be processed in countries outside the EU/EEA. Where this happens, it is covered by appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
4. Hosting
This page is hosted by Netlify, Inc., 512 2nd Street, Suite 200, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. When you visit the page, the hosting provider automatically processes technical data such as your IP address, date and time of the request, the requested page and your browser type (server log files). This is necessary to deliver and secure the page. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in a secure and working website, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Data may be transferred to the USA. Such transfers are based on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
5. Cookies and tracking
This page does not use cookies and does not use analytics or tracking tools.
6. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection regarding your personal data. You can withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future. To exercise your rights, contact us at hello@paintary.info.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The authority responsible for us is the Landesbeauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit Nordrhein-Westfalen, Kavalleriestraße 2-4, 40213 Düsseldorf, Germany.
